in the morning, we all semangat woke up at 5 am. missed the opening speech tho. thank goodness. haha

i was in 6th uncle punya car. driver: 6th uncle lor. navigator: lak sim. passangers: jan zhe, ann zhe and me! managed to spot a few answers. Jan zhe said im clever wei!!!! did not argue much with her and ann zhe. haha coz on the way jan zhe headache.

the best question: water continent. ann zhe and i looked out from the same window and spotted air asia. we were randomly reading all the signboards and were like: oo air asia. we still coudnt find the answer to water continent. kirly was the bomb! air asia la ! AIR=water in malay. ish. reached the hotel but kena potong markah coz we were late. i think 13 mins late.

so we had to minus off about 13 marks. stayed in ipoh's heritage hotel. all of us were looking for a swimming pool. but they only had a small fish pond. sigh.. stayed around in the lobby coz they had to arrange the rooms and watched helplessly as ivy beat up khin yang and chased him all over the place. aiyoyo form 3 already la ppl. haha but it waz a funny sight.

results were chi gek as usual. but the prize giving ceremony was quite boring. khin liang was soo disappointed they didnt get champion for the chinese group. aih. all careless , he said

then we got bored:

6th uncle got 5th i think and my dad's car got 4th place. not bad not bad. if only we arrived on time, we could've gotten 1st and second.. TT the champions didnt even get the treasure! speaking of treasure, we were supposed to get comic books like batman or spiderman. instead of comic books, only the tan family team got the star two comic section which consists of one spiderman cartoon. haha talk about giam siap. how are the sponsers gonna donate the newspaper later??hahaha..

we had missons this year. the first one, someone in the car gets down at a certain place n shouts at the top of his or her lungs : TA LING, WHERE ARE YOU?? audible for the whole street until he or she finds ta ling, some lady who will give a chop to show that u have done the mission.

so embarassing wei! they asked my to do the shouting. but the smart me went to one fruit shop and shouted ta ling! are u there?? haha one lady came out and pointed us to another fruit shop across the road. ta ling heong gor dou ar,, ( ta ling is at that shop)

the other two missions were not too bad, just had to find the road and the house number.

mission no 2: the field opposite the house had lots and lots of cows!

at night, we went for supper at some place called lou wong. so many ppl wei. i thought it was a pasar malam but it turned out to be a restaurant full of people. but we managed to get some tables and so we waited and waited. jan zhe and ivy was falling asleep ade. haha. khin liang ordered TWO bowls of sha hor fun summor. miracle! he never eats anything.

but the food was GOOD!!! yum yum. good thing i never stayed back at the hotel to sleep.

at night, ivy, kirly and i were about to sleep when ale and khin liang rang our doorbell asking us to play with them. HAIYOYO.... just when i was about to fall asleep. kirly wanted to play catching so she went with them. i decided later that i should join them so ivy slept in her parents room that night. haha sry ivy. but instead of playing catching with them, i went to their room and napped until they came back. khin xian wasnt playing too, coz he was SHIRTLESs and talking to some girl on the phone, helping her get her bf back or something.. too tired to listen properly. haha

finally they came back, so i took my pillow and went back to our room with my sis. slept at one something i think

was sleeping so soundly when alvin rang the doorbell in the morning. haiyoo.. just to use the hotel phone. i wanted to kill him!

so i got up and joined ivy for breakfast.

the highlight of the day was when we were checking out.

i wanted to get the contest from star newspaper so i went from room to room to take the pages out. haha i stole somebody else's punya contest page. it was hanging outside his door. haha but according to jan zhe, that room seems empty. so i quickly took out the two pages and slipped the newspaper back into the plastic bag and hung it back outside the door.

then i went to khin liang's room to get newspapers. 714. he was walking behind me n i saw this half open door. i thought he did not close his door so i barged into the room to find some stranger sitting on the couch talking on his phone. haiyoyo so embarassing. he looked a tme as if i were from mars. so maluuu.. khin liang didnt even stop me. his room was just next door..

too bad it wasnt a lengzai. haha

left the place and ate lunch at a restaurant beside lou wong. had ipoh white coffee after that and went home. it rained the WHOLE journey home. water was just pouring from the sky. it was like the whole population in heaven was washing their clothes and empyting pails of water at the same time.

but God brought the whole Tan family safely home.
