the outdated february post

CNY was nice. fun la. but it just wasnt the same as the other CNYs used to be. no more shufen zhe, mei xian zhe and khin juan gor gor. haha. they were "replaced" by jan zhe n BF.

then we had all sorts of make-up songs + dance. sort of entertained everybody to get more angpows!!

the best was when we went mamak. we all got into chai chuan gor gor's pick up truck and headed off to uma rani. we sang the doodah song all the way there. people were turning on some lights to see wad all the noise was about. haha. but i guess we were having too much fun to care

Then it all started with shuwei. she started singing rudolph the red nose reindeer. then she came to the part: and if u ever SAW him. Well, instead of SAW she used SEEN. we debated over it for awhile and Shukim came up with : and if u ever SEE him, which was even worse than and if u ever SAW him.
so ivy, wei, me, kirly and shukim were sitting there debating over saw, seen and see when the old ppl ( hun zhe, ann zhe and cheryn zhe ) decided they had enough and requested a change of song.
so we switched back to the doodah song.

wenly: everybody sing a song doodah doodah
Shuwei: everybody sing a song all the doodah day
wenly: its not ALL the doodah day, its ON the doodah day.
Shuwei: no, its ALL
shukim: huh??? i thought it was O the doodah day?
wenly: NO. it's ON the doodah day. How can it be ALL the doodah day or O the doodah day? doesn't make sense
khin xian: i thought it was HEY the doodah day??

hAHAahhaha!

shuwei checked the internet. correct answer will be ALL the doodah day.
sigh. some songs just don't make any sense!

and that was one of the many CNY cuzin moments. haha classic weh.
