about losing

we lost the inter-class basketball game today.. TT
the feeling is even worse than losing in an individual running event.
maybe it was because we were too confident. yea, this proves that the first class ppl can be good in sports and teamwork and they should NOT be underestimated. but we were so close.. just another ball to a draw.
i guess today just wasn't our day.

There was one time when i was tying my shoelaces and an opposing team member dribbled the ball right infront of my eyes. She scored just like that. Really, if i wasn't busy tying my shoelace i could have blocked her. sigh. When there was only four seconds left i passed the ball to my friend who tried to score. the ball went round the rim and bounced off when the referee counted down to zero. why didn't it go in???!! grrrr..

we really thought we could win... we even expected to get near the finals because we had lots of good players on our side, lots of school team ppl too.

well, i guess we can always try volleyball, badminton or even.. ping pong!!
haha. but i got to know some new classmates through this game so, at least we still have friendship!! beats getting medals anytime.
