if we are the body

1 corinthians 12: 12-31

12The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. 13For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

14Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 16And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 17If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

21The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" 22On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

27Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues. 29Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? 31But eagerly desire the greater gifts. And now I will show you the most excellent way.

read this earlier. stuffs have been happening around.. not lately tho.. have been going on quite a while now.. some people have given up, most just left. some who stayed back just decided to hang around to see the ending of it. there is a batch though of a few who are still hanging on, not giving up, choosing to believe what God has put into their hearts , doing His work.

why don't we all just go and leave things as they are ? why don't we all give up and move on to where the grass is greener? we may even get something better on the other side...
maybe the question is why CAN'T we, instead of why don't we.

maybe it's hope. maybe because somehow all of us are holding on to something. hanging on, having faith, hoping that one day things will go right. eventually.. i hope.
maybe cause it's hard walking away, leaving the people, or rather the family you grew up with, the family you belong to. knowing no matter how far you go, you will never be able to forget and feel the same way. you cannot leave your home.

a family sticks together in the times of trouble. no one is going to leave anybody because everyone cares about everyone.

we are one body of Christ. we form a church in Christ. if anyone suffers we suffer along with them. and we will stick together in the times of trouble. nobody is going to leave anybody behind because deep down we all care about our brothers and sisters in Christ.

we all care about our family in Christ. and we are going to go through this together and solve this problem, as a family, as one body of Christ.

so we splitted up

then they split us up into 2 stupid groups -.-"
so much for the bonding genting trip we had. all our getting to know each other efforts washed down the longkang.

my group has only 5 out of the 13 girls including me.. TT and the most terrible thing is, shuwei is in the other group.!!! pfftt i so wana sue help for this.
the good thing is, we are only splitting up for 2 classes. phew.

but aih only two classes of zayani@the cabbage.. no more bickering and fighting over who gets prince william and whos THE queen of england and the rest of the free world. TT

and natalie! no more laughing at her banana chinese all day.

and ZY! my DEAR! gt to know u alot more during genting trip.

and lilih. no infamous laughter for 2 classes! that's more than 2 and a half day's worth of class!

vireen. no more bullying that poor sad girl all day

its a good thing my changfu is still here with me and my XIANG XIANG!
heheh. i shall miss them all. lessons aren't that fun without u guys.

but i made a new best friend. or say BFF!!
ahahahah her name is alicia! or aka zayani's ex-best girlfriend!
she prefers me over her. SO THERE! look whos queen now!

i did something weird yesterday. i called pei chee.. haha i actually called her! not to borrow money or confirm anything with her that sort of conversation. i called to talk to her! ahahahha i felt so weird. she did too! surprised that i called her for nothing. haha she's the one who usually calls and complain about me, her day and me. heheh.

not that we don't communicate or talk about normal stuff.. we do! through texting each other. hahha. guess we couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone and ask:" how was ur day?"
sigh, its kindoff sad.
maybe one of the big reasons is im using 012 and she's using 016 and we kindoff duno each other's house number. haha excuses excuses.
okok i duno hers. she has all the numbers related to me because i usually do not pick up my phone coz its either vibrating in silent mode or it dieded coz i forgot to charge it. haha from my house numbers to my parents numbers to my AUNT's house number. amazing isn't it?

maybe i just took her for granted and didn't bother to check up on her. sigh. i always do that don't u think?
i used to call ah boon and fellow 314 ppl out everyday at the beginning of college. guess i thought i was gonna lose some friends. i really feared that i was gonna lose lots of friends, ppl i know well and ppl i love. so i grabbed every single opportunity to go out with them and TNF after class.

but as time passed by, i got to know that i won't lose these ppl as friends don't just come and go. they stick to u and with u for the rest of ur lives. that's why they are called friends or BestFriendsForever(s). i became more confident in my friends and less insecure. knowing that nobody can replace them in my life and i won't be replaced by some somebody even if we do not see each other for n years.

but i guess it was kindoff different not talking to them for so long and not knowing whats happening in their lives.i felt left out from their lives. i realized that i really cared about everything that was happening in their lives and i really wanted to know what they were going through.
now i know i have to at least bother to pick up the phone once in a while and ask them:" how was ur day?" . heh. yes wut a bad person I've been to them.

so i shall start calling EVERYBODY during my free time at home :)

our trip to uncle lim's hill

GENTING HIGHLANDS.

we went up to genting last tuesday! the we here consists of 3 ppl -lilih ZY and yours truly. the rest of the ppl (the other 8 guys @ kelefe which u will see later in the pics went up on monday. they used rm7 plus altogether to go up by cable car and bus whereas we used rm3 plus to down by bus. haha its clear to me now that the guys have some face problem!)

we stayed up all night. playing heart attack with the guys. haha a new kindoff heart attack! lilih conned me into talking with her so il be at the same level with her!! TT. then i conned francis into talking.hia hia hia. then the rest of us started trying to get ming xiang to respond but we failed. grrrh that kiahsu guy.
in the end ALEX and WILLIAM lost. AHHAHAHAHA so they had to spell MISSISSIPPI with their butts! francis recorded them LIVE!

then we went back to our room to sleep. haha some sleep we got. we stayed up all night talking. i lost my voice in the end. then lilih went to wake the guys up for sunrise! haha she even gave them a morning call from HELP RESIDENCE! ahaahaha. then woke them by ringing the doorbell countless times and pulling the curtains apart the RISE AND SHINE WAY.

poor kevin and francis. i thought tsen yi was gonna KILL her big time but he seemed to be quite in a good mood. i think or should i say very very sleepy cause he didn't even bother to acknowledge her when she BARGED into his room. ahahahha. good for her!
ZY and i stood outside the room praying for her safety.

the kevin and francis came over to our room to take pictures coz their room kindoff sucked. ehehh. the only view they had was the aircon view.

and so we took pictures:











i wish i brought my camera. sobs. had to use my poor handphone. sigh, saddening.

and so after taking pics and more pics, we slept at 7am plus in the morning.
went to old town for breakfast. they didn't have my blackcurrent smoothie... TT but lilih tried their nasi lemak for the very first time and she declared its the nicest nasi lemak she has ever tasted. sigh that poor deprived girl. I SHALL BRING YOU TO WEDNESDAY PASAR MALAM OK?

ps. the water slide thing was kindoff fun at first, yea before u notice the water is GREEN! slimy and murky green. yuck.
